Get divorced, Jeep sits neglected. My poor Jeep. It's basically been sitting under a tarp for a couple years since my divorce. I had bought and re-built it for "family fun" but it kind of killed the marriage.
I have wide track axles for it with Detroit locker in rear Amc 20 & Dana 30 1 piece W/3:11 gearing and am yet to install with a spring over. Currently running stock 20 &30 axle's with stock 3 speed transmission (Geared way too high for good off road.). I've decided not to mount the BFG MT's 35x12.50 I have and will probably go with a 33x10.50. The '78 AMC 360 has had a complete rebuild. Been bored 30 over with Comp cam, springs, time chains, etc., Edelbrock performer intake and Holly 650 off road carb (not on at time) See the 2 spare drive shafts? The built 360 is way too hard on stock shafts and will get a Tom Woods custom. Someday putting in a T-18 tranny with 6:1. Future, I am going to Durabak the exterior and repaint in camo again when I replace the fenders in fiberglass. Currently running 31x10.50's. Replaced the rotten frame with a heavy Matkins extreme frame. Had a 4 wheel drive hardware fiberglass tub when I bought it which I Durabak'd inside. Also have a Magnum (Warn) 9500 winch.

  • Is that the 151 or the 258 in there? I can't tell.

  • @WWoodyW You're not being a wise guy now are you? That's an AMC 360 from a '78 Grand Wagoneer.

  • you should of had the exhust coming out behind the door

  • @UnIuckyChucky Long story: wrong headers for behind door; these are inside frame headers. The exaust was lengthened to fit 35's but I dumped that idea. The 90 deg. exaust ends are ugly but they keep the fumes from being drafted (sucked) back into cab and keeps mud & snow from packing them.

  • u have ur huntin permit but wat about ur terrorist huntin permit lol

  • That is the "Official terrorist hunting permit". I just haven't found any terrorists locally to hunt.
