Excellent music by the maestro. I beleive this guy produced almost a composition every day of his working life as kappelmiester of Liepzig cathedral!

Wenn ich nur Freiburger wäre .. I'm reminded of my German lessons! Er käme aus der DDR. =)

Sounds bad..... but the music is quite good

Thank you for this music. My eyes welled with tears.

I love this Concerto!!

Apparently these concertos (and the Toccata and Fuge in D) were to have been included in the "Sound track of Earth" attached to the Voyager space probes (not these recordings admittedly), but Carl Sagan felt it best to leave it off as he felt it would just be "showing off" :)
And I am "forced" to agree... RIP Mr B! and thanks for leaving us with such wonderous gifts

@k1ltro it does sound a bit "grainy" but i wouldn't say it sounds like crap. I like this piece enough to overlook a slight distortion in sound.

what is the caib. they are tuned too? 432????

too bad it sounds like crap..:(
why bother upping this jewel in such a lousy quality?

@bachkirche for me is bad, the best for me is music florea duet, you can find it in classic cat
The horn duet is Bach at his absolute best. As Goethe said, Bach's music is like eternal harmony conversing with itself.

The trio between the two baroque oboes and the baroque bassoon is absolutely OUTSTANDING!
