@DamianDoi although if it is like a "bow" i get a cleaner sound.so my problem is that no matter how i try to adjust the tuneomatic i can never make the right adjustment coz either the strings are too high or if they are lower they hit and the other frets so it sounds awful.should i try to fix that by doing what u did on the neck??
i really hope u understand what i am saying here :D hehe

hi there :D first of all thanx for such great video and for the help you provide people with.well i got a gibson epiphone from a friend of mine..i bought a set of elixir strings to put on that beautiful guitar,,heres my big problem..no matter how i try to adjust the tune-o-matic, i always get a bad sound..i am trying to have the strings in the same height and close to the frets like it is supposed to be coz too high from the frets make it looke like a "bow" and playing is difficult.

Alright, thanks for doing the leg work for me!
Can you do this with an Alan key?

@MetalSwitch95 Sorry to keep you waiting! Yes, an Alan key in the right size will work. Good luck!

You can probably do it the same way; can't imagine why you wouldn't. But if you want to be absolutely certain, we recommend contacting your guitar manufacturer for their particular instructions. Best of luck!

Hi John, I own a 2007 Reissue of a 57 Les paul Custom. The Tune O matic's thumb wheels feel like they have been tightened so much I can't rotate them at all to change the intonation, how do I loosen them?

@Bookstop1337 Unfortunately, John Carruthers doesn't work for Elixir Strings (though it would come in handy if he did!). Aside from asking a local repair shop or your guitar manufacturer directly, you might find some answers online in some of the guitar forums. I found one on Harmony Central that looked helpful. (YouTube will not allow us to post a URL here; Google tune-o-matic stuck wheels and you'll find it.) Best of luck!
