Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.

-Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782

    yeah sounds like a covenant

According to Bryan Fischer, people have "unalienable rights", unless they happen to be gay. If so, they have no rights according to this brainless little twit .

I wonder if Bryan ever tires of being wrong. Apparently not.

It does not say in the declaration that we all got our rights from your christian god. It does however say that all men are endowed by their creator with rights. And the key words here are THEIR CREATOR.

Then I want my right to beat my slaves so long as they survive a day or two (Exodus 21:20-21).

"..the year of our lord.." is as you say, a generic expression, it's not an expression of religious beliefs. The same applies when a non-believer gets frustrated in an argument and says "God D***-IT!" or "Go to H**l". Neither of those comments really reflect that person's belief in a religion.

If the Constitution is a covenant with God, why do these fucks keep trying to subvert it?
