Rich Delinger does work at apple, my bad... But I assumed you were talking about mateius Duarte, the guy that's in this video
-
@pawl03 umm idk where you got your info...but he's working with Google now on Android...He was the designer of Android Honeycomb(3.0-.1) and he will be the designer of Android Ice Cream Sandwich

@Dargakis hey check your inbox, i sent you the link where i got mine. i piad $10 to have these guys activate my udid with apples dev program. but they took nearly 2 days to do it. But iOS 5 is clean... i don't see any errors, i don't know why apple just doesn't release it to the public already..
-
@clunkmess wow that is really nice for you! :-D
I would love to try it on my iPad2 but I'm not a developer :-(
-
@Dargakis installing iOS 5 beta right now :)
-
@clunkmess i feel sorry for you now :-(
-
damn, iOS right now doesn't even compare to that nice notification system.
-
WebOS's notification system + Android's launcher/home screen + iOS's apps = Best phone ever...
-
They say for iOS 5 Apple hired the guy who did the notification for webOS last year. It actually maybe similar
-
I don't really understand why people think iOS should have these notifications in it? Yes, I agree that the notifications on iOS need improving, but this implementation looks visually bad, and horribly primitive.
I also don't want to have to re-code all my apps so that they can shrink correctly when a notification comes in. I hope Apple make it easy for us devs though.
This is how notifications should work on iOS.
