Baby Raccoon caught stealing!

July 12th, 2009 Heard something strange in the garage in went out to find a Raccoon and it's baby getting into my cat's food! Right when we opened the door the mother ran off and left the baby sitting there helpless. I caught it in a trash can but didn't know what to do with it so I let it go even though they'll probably be back to steal again. This is the first time I've ever seen a baby raccoon! When you put cat food out you get a lot of visitors. I've had many stray cats of course, opossums, and even a beautiful red Fox!

We just caught one in our garage. If there is one baby, trust me there's more! You need to catch the little guy and take him FAR away to be someone else problem because now he knows where free food is!

@Shadowsphinx Oh, I know. We recently bought a cage trap and we've caught 6 raccoons and a ferrel cat in it right in our garage. When you put food out the whole forest comes in for dinner
