@naval8viator actually you'd be surprised to know that computer voice assist has been around since the 70's. 'AutoTune' as we know wasnt developed until the 90's.

@eaglerockcalifornia Except that autotune wasn't even invented when he was singing in the 80's. He probably was using a vocoder or talkbox.

@eaglerockcalifornia Well nothing personal, you have a pretty good grip on production...it's just that us "old school" musicians ABHORR auto tune...it is unnatural and sounds ridiculous and worst part, is it is now an ACCEPTED part of vocals!!!! And anybody who thinks they have an ounce of talent feels REQUIRED to use it!!!
