JAPONAWA se llevo acabo en la Explanada del CENTRO CULTURAL TIJUANA el 23 de mayo del 2009 conto con una asistencia de 11 mil personas en un solo dia, con ellos se comprueba que es uno de los eventos mas grandes de la region en el giro de promover la cultura y subcultura japonesa. JAPONAWA es organizador y fundado por el Lic. Edgar Vera quien tambien es coordinador del MCTJ (Manga Club Tijuana).

JAPONAWA took place in the culture center of Tijuana in May 23 2009 and had an attendence of 11 thousand people during the day, witch proof that this is the biggest event that promotes the japanese culture and subculture in the city of Tijuana. JAPONAWA is organized and founded by Lic Edgar Vera who is the President/Founder of MCTJ (Manga Club TJ).
