In this video I'm taking a look at a famous traditional French knife. The Laguiole was born in 1829 and is deeply rooted in the culture of shepherds, farmers and cattlemen in the region around the small village Laguiole in Southern France.

My Laguiole knife is from the renowned manufacturer "Laguiole en Aubrac" and was crafted from start to finish by a single cutler.

For further information take a look at these websites:

  • Stefan, is this the 9cm, 10cm, or 12cm version? It is beautiful! As usual your review is a wonderful one!

  • @claydoug 12 cm
