Archer Maclean's Mercury Original Soundtrack - Part 1 of 29

**************************************************
A little history about what I did here: I painstakingly (sp?) recorded this soundtrack, level by level, about a year and a half ago. After recording them, I edited them to have a seamless loop (they are already seamless in-game), have a fade at the end, and be a little louder (they seem to have a low volume). Took me a week to do that. A week later, the computer died because of idiots.

Several months ago, using homebrew software for the PSP (I forgot the name of the program, sorry), I managed to rip the songs, and actually figure out their names, rather than "Level 1 song", "Level 2 song", etc. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to edit them the way I did before since I don't have the program from before. I'll get to that sometime later. This whole process was also much faster since I didn't have to wait on load times (it was a direct stream from .at3 to .wav, then a .wav to .mp3 conversion).

This morning (Jan. 17, 2009) at 7am, I got up and made these videos. At 10:55am, I just finished them, and am now uploading them. I hope you enjoy these. Also, I did not increase the volume with the program I'm using, because it makes them sound bad and scratchy. So, if the video isn't loud enough, turn up the volume, but make sure to turn it back down before you listen to something else.

Mind you, I'm not uploading these in alphabetical order or order of appearance. I'm uploading these in the order I found them using homebrew software.

  • @harrykid

I hope to begin editing this soon, although I have quite a bit of work ahead of me first.

  • where can I download this so I can play it when I play Mercury Hg

  • @harrykid I'll message you a download link.

I [STILL] haven't edited these, so you'll get the version that you're hearing now, unfortunately. I have another laptop now, so I may edit these soon.

  • @Zexidous No need now, I converted the .at3 files myself :)

  • @Unkn0wnumb3rs Whoops, sorry. I only just got online, and YT didn't even bother to show me your first comment. I do have the soundtrack for download, although it's not edited the way I wanted it (louder volume, loops, cuts, etc). I plan on editing it one day when I can, but for now, if you still want my version, I'll message you the link to the download (YT won't let me post the link in comments).

  • @Zexidous could you send me the Soundtrack too? I played Mercury the day it came out & I've always loved the music. I was kinda hoping that an actual music artist did the music because of how ambient it sounds etc.

  • @ddrmaxman I have it! But I can't post a link in comments so I'll send you a message.

  • Hey, by any chance, could you upload this soundtrack somewhere where I can download it? I've been looking for this everywhere and no one seems to have it.

  • Wow, thanks man. I love the music.
