Dragon Age Origins - Awakening (PC) - Nightmare Difficulty
Beating The Mother (final boss) fast with my AW/BM/BM Mage. Death Hex + Dual Haste + melee attacks take her down very quickly. Childer Grubs spawn when you kill the Tentacles so the fight goes a lot faster if you simply ignore the Tentacles. For this reason, I set everyone's tactics to focus on The Mother and it worked pretty well. All in all, another very easy battle for my AW/BM/BM Mage.

What armor did you use? And should i just try to kill the mother while my other people are killing the tentacles? Please help.

@KourtneeJo I was using Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate Armor from Origins. Check out my "My Level 30 Mage Build" video if you want to see the full build.  If possible, ignore the tentacles and have everyone constantly attack The Mother. If you kill the tentacles, a bunch of Childer Grubs spawn so it's easier and faster ignoring the tentacles.
