I was also not a fan of the new Transformers trilogy. The only good thing they did was to bring Peter Cullen who was the original voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers G1 cartoons.
I would much watch Transformers the Movie which was based on the original TV show.

Nobody watched the movie to see an annoying douchebag's job, his high pitch scream, his relationships, his idiot parents, his wacky boss, idiot characters, Uncle Sams boys being victorious against beings with advanced technology. People watched the movie for the Robots, their war, their history but they were thrown in the background to make way for idiot human characters & crude humour.
