No it isn't.

Everybody I know in the UK find's it interesting as hell, and don't know half the stuff on this show.

And as for the iq, the average brit has about 5 iq points more than the average american.

Unless the average american has an iq of 50 (making them dumber than your average downsyndrome) being 80 points over the average, would make them on average, a country full of genious.

I think this show is great, cos you have a good laugh while watching it and you pick up a few things in the process from the wisdom of Steven Fry. It's nice to watch something different from the run of the mill shows which are entertaining to watch but not very unique.

Actually this show counts as idle foolishness in the UK. The average Brit have at least 80 IQ points on us, as a rule.

@cptskellern Porridge is a slang term for prison/doing time. Porridge is a sit com based in a prison. It's worth checking out, if you can find it. :)

yes i know mate,i used to watch it all the time,one of the greatest,i was replying to someone who had wrote a list of comedies and had left out porridge,thanks anyway :)
