  • Hyundai USA in this video was generalizing with the word Americans. It's call being simple when describing North America which includes Canada. And by the way Hyundai motors USA made the vehicle not Hyundai Motors. They are semi independently run. If you haven't looked Hyundai has one website in Canada and one in USA. The poster of this video is from the USA team. If you want to complain about Hyundai contact the Canadian branch.

  • Great video

  • Hyundai is deliberately spelled this way because it sounds Japanese so American buyers are fooled into buying what they think was a quality reliable Japanese vehicle. well now you are getting the reliability and quality. lol.But really hyeondae would be the true and correct way to spell Hyundai based on the pronunciation.

gimme a break at least SAMSUNG is honest and straight up. SAMUSUN. lol!

  • Hyundai Genesis interior looks dated and cheap, Take a look at C class or audi a4 interior or even an infiniti one and you'll see proper design through and through.

The Hyundai Genesis grille looks like cheap after market grille and somewhat resembles a Kendo mask.for that money you need a much better grille. Also the gap lines on the Hyundai genesis are not always consistent namely the rear bumper thin and gets thinner as you go up the lines up the bumper. That is sloppiness.

  • Hyundai is still a rookie car company.

All their designs are cookie cutter ones derived from Japanese and European models.

Their engines and engineering mimic Japanese cars especially.

Hyundai cant make its own transmissions uses ZF and Aisin.

Hyundai introduces their model 1-2 years after Honda ,Toyota, and Nissan release their own proving Hyundai does not want to take the leap or the risk and that it needs to thoroughly examine its competition. Rookies and amateurs. no innovation just copy

  • 'America' includes North America.. which includes Canada.

  • Yeah keep the ergonomics easy and intuitive! So many modern cars are suffering "being too fancy" or not knowing how to integrate all the new technology. I have a 2007 Elantra. The dash is not fancy but it is supremely functional. I like the way the HVAC has 3 big round controls. However I was used to having fan speed and the off switch on the same knob. It is still throwing me off to have adjust fan speed on one knob and turn it on/off on the function knob.

    Good luck HMUSA

  • Dear Hyundai. I am a canadian buyer. I was very upset about the comments in this video. I feel that the comments made saying you have a lab to understand the american market. This car should not be designed specifically for americans as it is sold here in canada. Americans don't rule the world. I was going to buy one of the sonatas until I heard it was made by "understanding the american market"

  • well hyundai, you have everything going in the right direction, but to really change the car market you need to change one thing that you havent as of yet,and that's price. Your prices and going up and they should be going down. Price sells cars, and one thing to auto industry has done,is make a really good, long lasting car,for ALOT not a little less than the competitors. If your prices were extremely low and the quality as good as it is now, EVERYONE would drive JUST hyundai and no other brand.
