@MarmaladeINFP That's right!

Whenever a Representative or a Senator cites religion as justification for bigotry, use the PATRIOT ACT to make the politician disappear. The same goes for street preachers who fail to follow Jesus 24/7 by giving gay people a headache. Unfortunately, Christians calling gay people names is legal and, in some states, so is firing them for something not job related such as being gay. The world would be a much better place without religious fanatics. They are nothing but hate-mongers and bigots.

President Barack Obama disappoints me! Most of the time, he capitulates to both the GOP and Christian fundamentalists. It's disgusting! Meanwhile, he just accepts it when people call him a Muslim, a foreigner, and a socialist. Show some backbone, Mr. President! Please.
Tell you what: Send the next SOB who slanders you to one of those secret prisons the Bush Jr. Administration created. You can all the CIA and have both the name caller and his family disappear. Remember the PATRIOT ACT?

Slowly, but surely, gays will get the rights they deserve. Christians are just going to have learn with it. If they don't like it, then tough fucking shit!

@Homer177 Like most things, I'm of mixed opinion. I grew up in an extremely liberal Christian church where gays were married. So I don't despise Christianity in general, but I do realize that most churches aren't as liberal as the one I was raised in. Overall, I have less problem with religion as a personal faith than as an organized religion. It just pisses me off that right-wingers want to portray Obama as a progressive liberal. I wish we had a progressive liberal president.

@Homer177 - If I could interject, as an atheist, I personally don't think of buddhism as a problem or harmful at all, like the damage done by the abrahamic religions.

@MarmaladeINFP Yeah, that's how I feel about it. Essentially this so-called majority is running out of scapegoats and excuses that'll keep them in business. I usually don't say things like this but I look forward to the quiet but well deserved death of organized religion. It's kind of an ironic statement considering I follow basic Buddhist principles.

Keith is my Hero!!! Thank you for this elegant and unassailable comment! Bravo!
Reality has a well known liberal bias. I am confident it will be today, but I hope it will be tomorrow if else
