If people would have supported the DC when it was alive instead of the crappy PS2 then maybe we would have seen more brilliant ports from sega arcade platforms.E.G..Scud Race,Daytona 2,Star Wars trilogy Arcade etc.

@Naomi0111 I give my very own two testicles for Scud Race on Dreamcast.

I always loved how this game looked so damn good, the soft shadows were very impressive and were dynamic as well, not many games back in the last gen days had dynamic shadows let alone soft ones, the cars just lacked real reflections, but other then that this game was jaw drooping and damn fun!
I had this and the Saturn games, man those were the days ahaha!

i agree i loved my dreamcast, real fun arcade games, speed devils was a classic for me loved the idea of the game start in league D work your way up to Class A then beat driver X ,Simple n fun how games should be.

such a shame really, the dreamcast didnt fail, the public failed the dreamcast.

Daytona DC Tracks + Arcade Sounds + SEGA Clasic Racing Graphics + Force Feedback support (like in the just released one) + Super Online = The Chuck Norris of gaming

@keironewoodgate Feel free to add me if you want mate, my PS3 name's the same as my YouTube name. I'm probably going to just hold until it gets released here after all now - just had a bit of an expensive weekend ;)
-
@MrThunderwing you should, then you should add me (keironewoodgate) on psn so we can race :-)
-
@keironewoodgate Cheers. Maybe I might get a US PSN voucher of eBay after all...

@MrThunderwing Yeah everything works a charm. There's not an abundance of lobbies atm but I think its because of the different region thing but its perfectly fine. I've literally not put it down all weekend, its an exact port. No messing with the visuals or controls. Its god damn EPIC!

disgrace to the REAL Nascar..

@bloodhoun138
The original is a Arcade game released in the mid 90's purely designed for instant action and succeeded more then any other Arcade game in history for profits made from the machine alone. The NASCAR name/brand has nothing to do with Sega's Daytona USA, Sega just licensed the track to use the Daytona name.

hey what the car that your driving never seen 1 of those! part 2 never seen a gallop hornet like that

@az98411
It's a custom color Hornet which Daytona USA on DC allows you to do.

Hey dude, I don't know anything about programming... but would it be possible for someone using some sort of homebrew application to release a version of this that plays like the original Saturn version and doesn't have the horrible messed up controls of the Dreamcast version?

@MrThunderwing
Not sure, probably not without the original source code. It is a bit twitchy with the analogue thumb stick but it is easier to steer with a wheel, though I used a standard DC pad thumb stick for this video.
