Me and my wife adopted Joey sometime in mid-2008. Maybe around April or May ... I can't really remember. She's doing great! My wife spoils her rotten.

Chricthe, I am the person who took in Joey, I've had 28 blind dogs since 2006, 7 of whom were also deaf. I can assure you they are just as happy as any other dog, and their quality of life is great! Joey needs no special attention, she's happy as can be with her new family. look at my videos for your proof!

Just a question. But how would even the most advanced animal lover give this pup any quality of life? No offense because what you are doing is wonderful... But how would someone provide Joey with a happy fulfilled life?
Blind Joey was saved, rehomed and is now living a happy life in New Orleans... but his message will help many others.

I wondered this as well. However, after much research I've found there are many VERY happy deaf and blind dogs living in happy homes. We are saving a blind chow puppy this week. Born without eyes... she will have a beautiful home.
Spread the word...
