@HellsingWalter87 Such sugary-flavored antifreeze is forbidden now here in France because of this issue. Too many animals died lapping up the stuff. The antifreeze we find now in France is so bitter no sane creature would like it.

oddly enough, it is not uncommon to come across a kitten or a cat in an engine block. A couple of years ago in Parrish, FL there was a kitten found in an engine block of a postal vehicle. The mechanic that rescued the kitten adopted him and named him Stamps. ;)

they crawl into engine blocks because of the heat it gives off. That or their attracted by the smell of antifreeze.

There was a story in the local newspaper how a guy drove down the road herd strange noises found a kitten in his engine. Managed to get the kitten free but it bolted. Few hours later his son was leaving and yet agian herd strange sounds in the engine. It was the same misadventruing kitten. This time the kitten wasn't so lucky at getting away. Now it is serving it's time as a loved house pet because-well what are the chances? Family decided twice is enough kittens ment to be theirs.
