good times good parties lots of friends

I miss Mortuary station sunday recovery parties, they were the best!!!

@NMWMN how can you say there are no winners in partying? Granted that the promoters and dealers make a shit load of cash. But i wouldn trade the memories and the friends ive made from the 90's for anything

@Chuggalugg Don't... stop... go back! Go to University and say no to drugs. There are no winners in 'partying' except for the promoters and the dealers.

haha im one of those kids. Stereo is good, but its so over produced and regulated. I would love to go back to the older days and be a part of a real rave. It should end at 7am, not 11pm.

Im 20 years old and been in this scene for a year now.. i will party in your name my friend! I wish i could go back to the old rave days, they seemed to be so much more real and personal than the over produced shows we get now! Great comment by the way..

I live at homebush now almost 20 years on and this just brings back all the memories of real parties that happened down there and in Sydney (Summer solstice, Collusus etc). Sure there are huge mega parties there now (I had kids from Stereosonic passed out at 11am before its started near my doorstep) but the history and culture from the 90s cannot emulated.

@kittehjam i do apologize i was probably 3 cans past my limit when writing that comment, i can't even remember seeing this before. great pics.. beer and internet dont mix...

@MrSethticles Yeah we had real diversity here in Sydney.. and we loved every moment of it :) something tells me you missed the whole point of that era.

I remember this track being palyed to close a party, it was perfect for the time!
I went to pretty much all of those parties... Pie and Mash, Flim Flam, Tribal, Prodigy, Psychosis, May Day, FOD... my god... suddenly I've become old and I've forgotten what the fuck I was supposed to be doing in life. Now I'm forty and unemployed, overweight and going grey. The old tunes bring a big lump to my throat. I'll be listening to Itch-e and Scratch-e in the nursing home (If I make it there)

Thanks for the combo of flyers and that tune man. I have all those flyers stashed in my bottom drawer waiting to be framed one day. I'll tell my kid about the parties his dad used to go. They were special times indeed and unique in Sydney culture. At least we still have the music to bring the feeling back when we want eh!
