You know, when you see the behind the scenes footage of how incredibly nervous he was just before he stepped on stage to perfom, that he seems even remotely confident at all is quile remarkable and a testament to his utter professionalism.
Definitely deserved a 'Touchdown' .

@Maggoo8 Anthony's performance is pitch perfect and he has that wonderful 'supported' voice that comes from years of training. To my taste that makes him the best pop voice I've ever heard. I know some people like a thinner more typical pop voice and aren't so fussed about the pitch, but for me the performances are in a different class entirely. The 'cockiness' is part of the performance surely.

After reading your comments I thought I would check out James as I love this song, to be honest I thought This performance was better. You find Anthony cocky, while I find him confident in his abilities to entertain, and if you knew him you would know he is not cocky at all but actually quite humble. Anyway each to their own I suppose.

Such a joyful and gutsy performance. You really can sing just about anything, Anthony. Love your ballads, and your bluesy songs and just for a change you sing some full-blooded rock like this one.

na to be honest I think James Johnston from idol 09 did a better cover of this song, Anthony is a little too cocky for my likings, he has this energy of arrogance, james did a cover of this and it was fantastic, it looked like he really put some heart and emotion into the song, it had rasp and appeal to It, fantastic job James, and good work Anthony?
