Leveson recommends independent UK press body

The Leveson inquiry into Britain's newspaper industry has recommended a scrutinised form of self-regulation backed by legislation to uphold UK press standards.

Judge Brian Leveson said a new regulatory body should be established in law to prevent more people being hurt by "press behaviour that, at times, can only be described as outrageous".

The press doesn't need special regulations. They just need to be held to the same laws a regular person would be subject to.

Notice how the news agencies all seem to report on the same things at different hours? They need more freedom to go investigate and report on different things the same day. That would make news broadcasts more interesting even. Turn on a different channel and hear new news not the same news you just heard about on another channel.

The press does need to establish a new regulatory body. The ones that are telling the press what they can and can't report on could be connected to the same bad people that makes storms and other so called 'natural disasters.' The news agencies and press need more freedom to report on what they want to report on, then maybe the murderers operating the bad technology could be exposed and terminated like the murderers they are.
