@BrenSlant hi i have a 225 slant six in my truck and i was wondering what did you do to that engine did you put a cam and new head on it to get that much hp and if u could tell me great thanks

slant six's were some of the best motors ever built couldn't kill them. I know some one who use to race his Cornet with a stock slant six against those with v8's and the V8's had a run for their money.

What Did it make on that pull?

it made 236hp and 300ftlb torque. Of course this was early in the tuning of this motor. Since then with a different carb headers and a few other things I can't remember, this engine has ran 14.74 in the 1/4 pushing a 67 barracuda with full street trim and A/C. Total weight with me is 3400lbs. Also most forgot. I made that time with a baby car seat in the back too.

At that point it was disappointing with 236hp and 301 ftld torque. It was bored and stroke to 258 cu. with lots of head work.
