Bravo, beautifully done Mary. Not here to cause any controversies but, I've been learning a lot here over the past 3+ years and it has come to my over-standing that, there is NO such term as Native Americans! This nation was not called America until the whites came here! Natives should be recognizing themselves simply as natives of Turtle Island if any term/name needs to be given! Spread this far & wide across the lands! Do NOT allow yourselves to be labeled by white man terms any longer! Peace

She actually had just dedicated this to my recently deceased wonderful Father Eugene Gearou and surprised me with this. Lutheran Church of the Ascension.

Dedicate this sonqq for those who have moved on and went to a better place...

It does sound like an A, and she's playing the high as well as low note with all fingers down... so I'm guessing your right and it's a diatonic, not pentatonic NA flute.
