Here are some rocks that I found while walking on our ranch. They look to be Native American Indian artifacts. Does anyone know what they were used for.

  • the non-flint one looks like a hand millstone. the one right after it might be a scraper for cleaning skins? however I think the guy before me seems to have more knowledge of such things than I do.

  • 0:02 on video, hand "chopper".

    0:19 hand held grinding stone; it might even fit in your grinding bowl!

    0:49, hand or hafted chopper/axe.

    1:24, Probably indian trade "preforms"; which with further flintknapping, could be made into likely arrowheads...all very worth keeping of course. I'd suggest you throughly hunt your property for everything...and keep the collectors out.
