Actually, nothing indicates that H. griseus is endangered, but they are a necessary pa of the ecology, and too toxic to eat, so yes - thank you very much for releasing them.

Six Gill shark, 5+ meters, caught with rod n reel, depth of 180 meters, took us 4 hours to see its blunt nose.
It's still alive, so don't start bitchin'

I really hope you released these because they are really endangered. illegal to kill.
