I think it's the opposite. I like both bands, but i preffer megadeth, I have a good reason for it.

And whenever i go onto a metallica video i see a comment bashing megadeth/mustaine, allthough on megadeth videos, it's mainly how metallica isn't tecnhical enough... that's not bashing dude.

I think that just speaks to a part of the people who follow megadeth, but It happened to me, that to feel touched by the dave's story, put me on his side, but it's an issue of maturity to understand and be able to separate their personal problems of their music.
