@ TheTyejbenoit2 I have a friend like you it's because you have lack of imagination and you are a cod fanboy and feel that retro graphics are so 30 years ago and you are so into this generation graphics that you dislike the roots of what it was..but minecraft needs it's crappy graphics to run all the good gameplay and run your perfect ideas.....so your opinion on minecraft is perfectly normal I don't know why you have so much hate

He was on creative almost the whole time, and it seems as if he never even touched the multiplayer.

The game's achievements were an attempt to give the player a little bit of direction. They guide you toward the path of progression that will eventually lead you to the "end", should you choose to pursue it. Alot of the basic recipes are given to you in the achievement descriptions, while the some of the more advanced recipes are discovered through blind experimentation (as you might do in a realistic survival situation).

Granted, this may not be the best kind of instruction, but it is there.
