Big Black Solar Baloon

me and my bro got bored last summer hols, came up with the idea on making a big baloon out of bin bags and mealting them together with a paint stripper (probs gave us plastic poisoning, but worth it :D)
time consuming but cheep, and flys from the sun heating up the air inside... i reccommend u giving this a go!!!!

it took 3 fire made ballons its fires in the and a wet blanket in all of em to carry my cat
aventtly it was getting to high and i panicd and got my bb gun out avetully i shot each ballons 120 times to get the cat to safety lol i wouldent try it

amazing m8 just goes to sho if you put effort into something you can achieve whatever you want . personally id have put a design on it and cut it loose to see how far it got

bout 3-4 hours for 2-3 days.... cant remember exactly, sry! not masses of time, but by the end we were glad it was made lol

whats amazing is how did it go that high with simple air i mean if it was helium or gas its ok but that was air with a fan

yeah... it quite impressed us tbh! we made smaller ones and they had a little lift, roughtly enough to lift itself... so we went bigger and 'better' :-P
its all from solar power... black attracts heat, heating up the air inside, causing it to lift... amazing it gets hot enough if u ask me! only works on V. sunny days tho!
