Philadelphia Zoo Micronesian Kingfisher on New Perch

This Micronesian kingfisher used to perch on a branch that was partially hidden by leaves on another branch. So the keepers did a little rearranging, and now his favorite perch is up closer to where visitors stand. And he really seems to like being in a position to see the visitors better!

@phantompanther Yes, those are real bird sounds coming from real birds in the McNeil Avian Center exhibits! The sound of the birds calling and chattering to each other really is wonderful.
