Politicians are probably worse than used car salesmen though. Used car salesmen become used car salesmen--they don't have to get elected first. In other words,a used car salesman only lies to you once. A politician lies in order to get put into a position to lie again.
btw--my original comment/question was NOT in support of Clinton. It was a question designed to elicit thought. Your answer hit the nail on the HEAD!

It is indeed true. Someone did actually yell "fire!" and a bunch of people did run for cover.
