this just evolved from practicing Choson Ninja's whirlwind technique, it is basically the same, but a bit easier for speed

  • make tutoriles on your bo staffs how to make them would be nice

  • I did!

I have several where to buy materials, and how to make.

Just do a search for 'make your own bo staff'

  • you forgot to say "CUT" and walk away

  • hahaha, you're right!

damn, I keep forgetting that part,

  • It is very interesting that there are two comments here chiding me for not doing the "nunchuck" (which Choson Ninja doesn't do anyway once he speeds it up) move coming from basically empty placeholder accounts on Youtube. Could Endgen and KoRNeRd actually be someone else? the same person?

  • when u dont do the nuchaku move and u do it the "modifyed" way ur actually not grpping it correctly and can loose control of the bo if it were to make contact with anything....

  • 1. yes, but I don't think this whirlwind technique is actually meant for any type of contact, it's just an exercise, no one in their right mind would try to do this in combat

    2. I did this video to explain what Choson Ninja was actually doing (since he did not). If you watch he doesn't actually do the nunchuck move once he speeds it up, he does it this way using momentum to just keep spinning -- no nunchuck.

    but thanks for your comment

  • just buy a stick at homedepot

  • That's what I started doing as well!! I think it almost looks better!

  • Im totally going to practice that. However, when doing the "nunchaku" pass, you may not be bringing your left elbow up high enough. That pass requires you to pass the staff underneath your upper arm, which is done by sticking that elbow way up there. Its best to practice that pass by actually using nunchaku first, if you haven't already.

  • I also was having trouble doing it his way I'll try yours it does seem more fluid.
