August 17, 2009 - Thousands of passengers show up waiting between 2 - 4 hours to board the trains at some stations. A free ride along with complimentary food, coffee, tea, souvenirs made this an action packed day for many people. How long was my wait to board a train? 0 minutes. I started my journey at Langara-49th Avenue Station where this video clip begins. We went for a brief ride going northbound where the clip ends at Oakridge-41st Avenue Station. The final part of the video shows the train leaving Marine Drive Station and heading towards North Arm Bridge to cross the Fraser River.
HEY! what time of day was that? i think i saw myself on that train!

Cool if it was you on board! Hmmmm... that was around 2pm - 3pm when I was heading northbound from Langara-49th to Oakridge-41st. Then 5pm - 6pm from heading southbound at Marine Drive.

All sorts! :-) Paper fans, guidebooks, maps, loot bags from corporate sponsors, "passports", etc.

The line connects to Richmond, where more than half of that city's population is Asian.
