2 words for the high elf player Bolt thrower, he needs more firepower badly

At the end btw, the seaguard unit is destroyed, which causes normal panic checks, and then the two characters are two seperate units after, still taking panic checks for the destroyed unit if they have to

Shouldn't the swordsmaster only pass panic at double 1's? The unit is below 25% etc., or is this just for combat ress?

@Plafintarr I think they announced the sales of the trays a few weeks after i asked this question. I think a lot of people were interested in them.

doing the math hammer the greatswords would have beat the spearmen by one on averages but it may have gone differently in practice as lady averages could have smiled on you and would have got the cane out the cupboard them a damb good thrashing

Other than that good game. My opinion is empire, dwarfs and wood elves are the counter to dark elves and high elves. How much magic did you get off? I'd say about none. However if you just held back a bit and let him come to you you could've blown him to pieces. In fact instead of casting magic you possibly could've dispelled his 'remains in play' spells with impunity in your magic phase. All you'd need is to match the casting value to get it off.

@FlamingKillamajig I agree with that. The 300 pt or so investment in my L4 Wizard Lord didn't really pay off. If I just had another unit, or the right unit, I could have just killed his wizard in turn 2. I plan on play Empire more for sure.

Shawn, Empire are a far cry from an underdog in this edition. Awesome batrep as always! I learn a lot every time I watch.

@jthuffma I hope you're right. I think that almost any army can be revisited in 8th edition. We're just barely scratching the surface.
