but when I do that my mom yells at me she always has (especially for school I mean if I don't get a good grade I'm dead meat!) but my brother is taught nicely. I always found that unfair but then again I'm the older sibling eue;;;

@NadiaEveStudio I know a LOT of older siblings who say the same thing, that their younger siblings got better treatment from their parents. It's definitely not fair, but at least you know you're not alone.

how do you get her to straighten up (more or less) on her own with no yelling or anything !?? Now that is amazing parenting! Kudos to you for raising such a great kid! she's such a sweet kid!

@eqon1234 We praise her a lot, and we sometimes use bribes, like, if you clean up your room, you can have a snack! ha ha

Yelling doesn't work too well with Nina.

@geofg Well my mother was an older sibling herself and she always tells me that her father told her "If I raise you right your younger sibling will follow in your footsteps"

It's all about being a good influence i guess XD
