I can't recommend Joshua Ferris' book "Then We Came To The End" too highly.

It is one of the best books I have read in a very long time, not just for the skill of the writing and his unique, to me, comedic style, but for the overall mood of the book.

We must hope that somebody, somewhere, is taking good care of Joshua Ferris. He should not be allowed to cross water. or go tiger-shooting, or engage in anything more hazardous than writing a 2nd book as good as this one which marks his debut.

just finished reading then we came to the end and my mind was literally blown away

when my friends asked me to explain I tried to explain the greatness of the story and was left suddering trying to find words that would classify over those people usually use to explain something absolutely amazing.

Yeah, I just read 'Then we came to the end' and was hugely entertained by it. The language was fresh, the prose consistent and plausible, and the story moved at a delightfully well balanced pace. And the narrative point of view was very well executed.
