I take it thats a remington rifle? is that a factory brake? I was considerind an ultra mag because the rifles are a lot cheaper than a lapua,w/ simaler balistics thanks for the vid

Yes it's a REM. In all fairness to the weapon, this was a customers gun and he set his scope about an inch farther to the rear than I would. Since I could not move the scope,Also when one shoots from the prone, you take everything the gun can dish out plus you are even closer to the sights. None of the recoil cut me but it did hurt! This gun would not group under 3 MOA until I bedded the action and floated the barrel. If one can handel the recoil, this gun will shoot under 1/2 MOA now.

Great Vid....but it looks like a couple of those hurt......You got scoped....wish you could have been out there with me doing the AR-50 videos.....

@ETHRON1 You are right, I did get "scoped", several times. I added a 3/4" recoil pad to get some length. There is room to move the scope forward an inch but it was a customer's gun and that is where he wants the scope so that is why I left it in place. Some of the sound effects were added to cover up the profanity! Boy, that girl can cuss as good as any sailor! :) AAAH, maybe it wasn't her but that's my story - stick'n to it
