Donkey Kong Country 3 - Krevice Kreepers

A full-speedrun for the level "Krevice Kreepers" in Donkey Kong Country 3. This includes no bonus barrels, no collection of the DK coin - just pure speed to the end.


...not that I could really call it "pure". There are still a few small mishaps along the way, but I manage to get through in a pretty quick time without losing a Kong.

The entire level is done with Dixie, so if you're not a fan of her, go see my Riverside Race run with Kiddy Kong instead.

Just Windows Movie Maker. I hook that up to a video camera via a video card, then wire the camera to the TV.

Just curious, what video capture software do you use? It's great quality.

I use a compressed format which comes with Snes9x.

Just click record avi.

However, due to the fact that it can only record SNES roms, and it has lagged sound at times, I'm now using live recording from my TV to record my videos.

Exactly. She made DKC2 and 3 her own.

@EmeraldEggThief : yeah, in this game I don't think I ever used Kiddy Kong on purpose. Diddy Kong is a good character - Kiddy Kong is better left forgotten IMHO.

dixies the best. i only beat like 5 levels in dkc2 and 3 with diddy/kiddy. love the cliff levels and their music. the gba music disgraces the game.

Something that I noticed as soon as I heard the tune "9,000 Miles" by Pendulum was that it's the same tune as the electric guitar bit in the middle of this level! No-one else on the internet seems to have noticed!

Dixie makes a lot possible. By the way, the music on this level is more than awesome

nope, Wise only did seven tracks in the SNES version, where as in the gba version he did all of them. Here Evaline (sp?) Fischer did most of them.
