Just launch from System->Administration->Update Manager, it will update firefox and all the system.

apt-get remove --purge firefox-3.5

try to uninstall minefield 3.5.1 first maybe you must delete with "rm -r" .mozilla in your home dir.

i tried to install it and sinatic installed minefield 3.5.1 pre so
