Vietnam Veteran's Memorial

My father fought in the Vietnam War in the late 60s. I've been to "the Wall" many times with him when I was younger. It is truly something powerful to stand at that wall. To witness those that went through the war relive the sadness of their fallen comrades is something that changes you forever.

Please, never forget these heroes.

what branch was he in and was he involved in any major battles?

He served two tours with the Army. I believe he was with some sort of radio unit. He doesn't talk about it much.

I have also been there when I went for a school trip. It is inspiring to see the heros that gave their life for us. The sad thing is when they came back they were treated horribly like they were monsters. But they were heros that fought for us weather they lived or died they fought for us to live. Great Video
