  • Edwort, Nice propane stand you have their. Looks like stainless steel. Can you tell me what brand or make it is, how long it takes to bring a pot of 7 gallon cold water to a boil, and your overall opion of it. Thanks

  • Or, you could remove the trub (pronounced troob for the next argument thread), which keeps the heat in the wort like a lid and causes most boilovers (w/excessive burner heat). If you're vigilant and remove this as it forms during the hot break, no boilover.

  • An easier way is to turn off the burner off and then turn it back on 5 seconds later. For some reason the pot will only boil over once. This realy works and it's fast!

  • Or you could say it like the Germans, whose word it is.

Nahhh. Too much work, and it confuses the locals.

  • Actually, it's pronounced "wirt" (rhymes with dirt). EdWort is the man. If he says something, it's gospel.

  • you can say it either way

  • It's pronounced "wert"...
