@Android18a yeah,I felt that Monkey Island 3 and 4 were spinoffs as well because they were dramatically different from the first two. I didn't like the silly cartoon visuals because it didn't match the tone of the series, now its more of a cartoon than a funny pirate adventure. Griping aside, I think the whole secret is that there is no secret. Maybe they were trolling us and its all a giant lie?

Morgan kind of had me in mixed emotions after the first episode. I found her irritating and even a little Mary Sue-ish. Thankfully, she was awesome in the latter ones, and I found myself rooting for her in the end. Of course, she'll never replace Elaine, but an interesting and compelling character she sure was.

Elaine atleast feels honest and not so naive, she also is so much hotter in the original artwork <3

@orkutfinance It would be nice to have another Monkey Island in the classic sense with the original two games as canon. Curse onwards do feel almost like spin offs rather than sequels. Having said that, they could make these games for years and I don't think Guybrush would ever find out the secret! :D
