Jim Croce from his performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test on Friday, 27th July 1973, with Maury Muehleisen. The shirt was a gift from Randy Newman, as Croce didn't have one. Their fee was £100.

He did 4 songs:
1. Bad, Bad Lee Roy Brown
2. Lovers Cross
3. Roller Derby Queen
4. Workin' at the Car Wash Blues

  • Great video & sound quality and I love the intro. Jim had some great stories and the talent of Maury shows through so clearly. Thanks so much for posting!

  • @MrTombrun These songs are amazing. A complex simplicity and the chemistry between Maury and Jim is magical. The fact they sound as fresh and relevant to me today, as they did when I first heard them demonstrates how they have stood the test of time.
