I tried this, and listened to music and focused on breathing, as some suggested. At first, I started to see some faint strips of colors flying around, like ribbons I guess, but that quickly stopped and I saw nothing interesting after that. Instead, my body began shaking, worse and worse as time went on.

I felt my heart rate increase, and was shaking so much my chair nearly fell over, so I had to stop. Even now, I haven't stopped shaking, but I'm not scared.

But what the hell am I doing wrong?

Oh and dont focus on the light, focus your attention on breathinf. Imagine that as your stomach expands as u inhale, air is flowing into a 3rd lung bellow ur belly button. Then it'll probably kick in.
