Sunday June 28 - Lake Michigan has active waves with dangerous rip-tides and under currents that can sweep smaller swimmers off their feet and carry them into deeper water. Here, life guards at Marquette Park in the City of Gary (Indiana) have left their posts and are seen playing in the surf. There are six lifeguards in the water, not watching the children on the beach. No supervision of life guards can be seen anywhere on the beach. It is an accident waiting to happen!
I live near lake michagan those waves are tiny!
