[AN: WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO UPLOAD THE INTRO TO THE NEW STORY???]
Chapter 29-
Lindsey was shuffling through the racks of clothes at Forever 21. She sighed because she noticed how many things she had already pulled off the racks. Just because she worked for Miley Cyrus didn't mean she had all the money in the world. She made her way to the dressing room. Sam was sitting in a chair watching Ali model off clothes. Lindsey walked into a dressing room. She pulled off her shirt and replaced it with another one. She walked out of the dressing room and got a thumbs up from both Ali and Sam.
"You know what I was just thinking about?", Ali said.
"Hmm", Sam said not looking up from her phone. Ali and Lindsey were getting curious about who she was texting, but didn't push it. It always felt like they were walking on thin ice around her.
"This is first day in a long time, that we haven't seen the boys", Ali said. She walked back into the dressing room and pulled on a purple mini-skirt. She walked out and noticed the look on Sam's face. It looked as if Sam was still concentrating on Ali's last observation. Sam thought about how this was different for her. She spent 17 days without Joseph and it was torture. She looked up at Ali.
"I want that", Sam said eyeing the purple mini.
"Have it", Ali said. She went back into the dressing room and Sam went into the one next to her. She handed the skirt underneath the door.
"You know. This is the first time in a long time that I have seen you without Nick", Sam said.
"I know. I love girl days", Ali said.
"Well, we should do this more often, like once a week", Lindsey said.
"I agree. The boys need time to spend with each other too", Ali said. They each walked out of the dressing room at the same time.
"True. I like that shirt Ali", Sam said. She looked at her sister, who knew that face all to well. Ali walked back into the dressing room for a spilt second, took the shirt off and replaced it with another. Sam, Lindsey and Ali made their way to the check out when they finally decided on everything they were going to get. They paid and headed to the food court. They each ate something different. While eating, they noticed girls would randomly point at them. They laughed it off like it was no big deal. They were sitting laughing about something Joe had said a couple days ago, before him and Sam had mended things, when a girl about 14 walked up.
"Um, you might get this a lot, but are you dating Nick Jonas?", the girl asked Ali. Ali forced a smile. This was actually the first time she had been asked something like this. She wasn't sure how to answer it. Sure, this morning on the radio, Nick had said he had a girlfriend and she knew there were photos of them, but she wasn't sure what to say.
"Mmhm", Ali said, stuffing her face full of pizza.
"Oh ok, just wondering. Can I take a picture with you?", the girl asked her. That caught Ali off guard, she used to be a fan with OJD, she was ready for a beating from this girl, but all she wanted was a picture. Ali smiled.
"Of course", Ali said. The girl came around to her side of the table and had Lindsey snap a photo. She stalked off towards her friends on the other side of the mall. All three of the girls sat down in shock.
"Wow", Sam said.
"I know", Lindsey said.
"What was so...weird, but cool", Ali said. Sam and Ali started laughing. They sat in the food court for a moment longer. Then, they headed out to Sam's car. They sat down and Lindsey's cell phone started ringing. She looked down hoping it was Kevin, but she automatically recognized the 775 as Reno. She was puzzled for a minute, but answered it anyway.
"Hello?", Lindsey said with speculation in her voice.
"Hi sis", one of Lindsey's sisters said on the other line.
