From Wikipedia:
With tense dungeon crawling and fearsome enemy encounters, the seamlessly intertwined world of Dark Souls is full of extreme battles, rewarding challenges, nuanced weaponry and magic, and the flexibility to customize each character to suit any desired play style. The innovative online component allows gamers to draw from the collective experience of the Dark Souls community as they either help or sabotage each other on the journey through the Northern Realms to save the land from darkness. With a massive, seamless open world design, Dark Souls encourages deep exploration and an adaptable gameplay experience.

Dark Souls is an upcoming video game being developed by From Software, who will also publish the game domestically as an exclusive title for the PlayStation 3. The game will be published on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by Namco Bandai Games. It was previously developed under the codename Project Dark and is the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls. Dark Souls will be released in Japan, for the PlayStation 3 , on September 22, 2011, and for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, on October 4 in North America and on October 7 in Europe of the same year.

Dark Souls is a brand new action RPG (role playing game) set in a rich, dark fantasy universe. Tense dungeon crawling, fearsome enemy encounters and groundbreaking online features combine for a truly unique RPG experience.

  • and i noticed you asking for constructive comments so if you read my first comment i said i wonder how far you actually got in the game. throw in more gameplay from deeper in the game and talk about the game mechanics more. you never mention stamina management, weapon reinforcement, covenants, or little events that happen in the game to show you actually know what your talking about so that your opinion has some credibility to it. all ur gameplay is from 30 minutes into the game

  • @michaelbryant21 thx! i read all the comments - and no i didnt finish dark souls before making this video - lucky for me i'm an indie guy making videos for ya'll in good fun and for entertainment purposes sooooo enjoy 'em where yah can - maybe there's some other reviews you found more to your liking on my channel?

  • i don't understand what the big deal is with dragons, why is this so exciting?

  • @invisiblefiddle dragons are cool! plus there's not a ton of games with them in it

  • dark souls is freaking amazing

  • Very *very* vague review with no actual game content or mechanics discussed and way too much emphasis on how hard it is (for you). Bad review overall.

  • Video games in the 80's were hard. Seriously it took me 4 years to beat the original Castlevania. Same with Ninja Gaiden. A lot of those games back then were tough but not impossible. Dark Souls is very similar in that way. Too many of todays games are 8 hours long overly scripted liniar and easy. I'm 55 hours into Dark Souls and not even halfway into it. While the game is complicated I don't think it's that hard. Anyone looking to get it I highly recomend getting the hardcover guide.

  • Dark souls is my favorite game

And demon's souls /dark souls is the most fresh franchise to have come out lately...awesome and stellar games

  • matters on the game...I was going to bring dark souls back...but gave it the chance and now I love it!!!!
