As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you are a critical member of the health care team, providing bedside care for the sick, injured and convalescent.

In this approved program of study, you will:
• Learn medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology.
• Learn and develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills essential to the practice of professional nursing through active, participatory, and culturally diverse learning.
• Become a critical thinker and problem-solver with an appreciation for the moral, ethical, and cultural dimensions of the issues you confront daily in the health care system.
• Upon graduation, be eligible to take the NCLEX PN licensing exam, which is a standard exam developed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
