Dear Mike McQueary

Dear Mike McQueary,

Joe Paterno, Gary Schultz, Tim Curley and Graham Spanier are all guilty, just like you. Guilty for not going directly to the Pennsylvania State Police upon finding a potential child sex abuse case against Jerry Sandusky and filing a report. All of you deserve to be fired for this, no doubt, but you so much more than the others. Your grand jury testimony reveals you witnessed a child being raped. But what did you do? You ran. You didn't intervene. You didn't call 911. You simply reported it to someone who reported it to someone who swept it under a rug. None of you followed up, none of you called police. And because of this, Sandusky was free to continue his monstrous reign of molesting children. All you had to do was knock Sandusky to the floor, and rescue that child. But instead, you ran.

"What are you supposed to do, when the ones all the power, are hurting those with none. Well for starters, you stand up."

Great! Mike McQueary should have stopped it. He was 28 6 ft 4 220 lbs. he kept it quiet until he was subpoenaed. He is a coward. He could have protected those who could not protect themselves.  Instead he kept it quiet. Coward.

Mike did the wrong thing twice - he didn't stop the rape and he kept not calling the police. But Paterno was literally the head of Penn State. He had to know about the 1998 incident. Paterno never did the right thing in 1998 and then he led the cover up in 2002. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

@cosmoomega I do not see us as being on opposite sides, we disagree about who knew what and when. There was a coverup for sure, but I feel that the DA, Child Welfare and police are dropping everything in the lap of the one guy that reported the crime. I keep seeing comments about Child welfare not knowing and the DA office not knowing, but that is not true. Child welfare was told about the crime, they did not need sandusky's confession to investigate and the DA didn't either

@123bigr I'm saying that the DA only knew what the Penn State owned and controlled police department chose to tell him about. I'm saying that the mother of an abused boy had 2 "Penn State" - not local city police - police hear his confession. The investator for the Centre County children has reported that the P.S. police never told her about his confession. The DA was not allowed to have State College police do any investigation because it was on P.S. grounds - so he didn't know about it.

@123bigr I appreciate your comments. We're on opposite sides of the fence. *But*, I'm hoping that we can continue to be respectful to each other. I really am listening and considering what you have to say - I hope that you will do the same. I wanted to know if you were aware that while Penn State is in the city of State College, the Penn State has their own "private" police. Don't know about the DA, but we know that the Child Welfare was NOT told about his confession to 2 Penn St. police.

@cosmoomega your comment is confusing. what is the purpose of the note at the end? Are u now saying that the DA knew about sandusky? Your previous comments would cause one to think no public official knew about sandusky. Child welfare was also told. People need to be educated about what actually happened as far as who was notified.

@123bigr The "Penn State" Police and DA were informed re the 1998 incident. A mother had Sandusky admit to having sexual contact with he son *and* with other boys while two *Penn State Police* officers were in the other room listening. Neither "Penn State" officer passed that info on to child welfare or the DA. They told the CW investigator, *after* his confession, that they had found no new evidence to persue the case. Note: State College police have no juristiction on Penn St. campus.

@cosmoomega You are a perfect example of what I am talking about. A mother did go to the police and there was an investigation. The DA let Sandusky walk. That DA has since past away. What are you going to say when you find out that the police and DA were notified about sandusky?

@123bigr NO ONE from Penn State ever went to the district attorney. They only testified 9 years later when called by the Grand Jury. If McQueary stopped it, that would be good. BUT, with a 10 year old boy who was just anally raped, why didn't McQueary get him dressed, and immediately take him to the police? Why didn't he take him home to his parents and tell them what had happened? Why did he just leave him with Sandusky in the shower with no way for him to get home safely????

Is it possible that McQueer actually did go to the cops? Apparently that is what he is saying. WHERE IS THE FUCKING FBI??? Now this can no longer be investigated by the local cops!! THE NATION IS WATCHING MUTHAFUKAS!!
