Commander in chief hey? People should read the constitution.for a President to be commander in chief,he must go through a 5 step process and the war MUST be declared by Congress.Only when these steps are carefully followed does the President become commander in chief of the Armed forces.The Founding fathers put these into the constitution so that you would not get a Dictator in chief.Maybe more Americans should read what they wrote.Presidents are not automatically Commanders of Armed forces

@jimbobjimminy Well worth the watch. I'm a very big West Wing junkine myself, and on a whim, I started watching this. It really deserved a better fate. ABC could have picked all the WW viewers looking for their 'political fix' back in 2006, since that show ended the same season this one began. This show deserved a better fate.

This show is good but West Wing is still a better show; however I doubt you will be disapointed by Commander in Chief.

Its my understanding that Steven Bochco ( the author) had some sort of problem completing scripts on time so it was cancelled. If anyone else knows any difference please feel free to correct me. I thought it was fresh and very good - and very funny in places to. Can we PLEASE swap her for Gordon Brown.
