  • @nodeue she has a habit of sometimes without thinking to read a few words in patois, in fact there are students who still speak thier own language all the time while in college

  • @boots992134 Well of course she doesn't speak that way to you, you wouldn't understand. Do all foreign students in your university speak to you in their native languages? I doubt it, they probably talk to you in standard English. Nobody said that Jamaicans can't speak standard English; this is just the native speech of Jamaica.

  • It depends what region you are from. If you live in the cities it's very unlikely that you will speak patois.

  • I know a jamaican in college and she does not speak like this let alone sound like that

  • @kayonahotgurl nothing like T&T accent, sounds pretty much Jamaican as they r lots of different Jamaican accents.
